1. Data We Do Not Collect

Glancer is designed to be a local, client-side tool. We believe in strict data minimization. Therefore:

• We do not collect, store, or transmit your browsing history.
• We do not collect analytics or tracking data on how you use the extension.
• We do not send the contents of the pages you scan to any external servers. All SEO and speed analysis is performed locally within your browser.

2. Permissions We Request

To function correctly, Glancer requests the following browser permissions:

• activeTab and scripting: This allows the extension to read the HTML source code and performance metrics of the currently active tab only when you click the extension icon. This data is used solely to generate the SEO report shown in the popup and is immediately discarded when the popup is closed.

3. Payment Processing

If you choose to upgrade to Glancer Pro, your payment is securely processed by our third-party payment provider, ExtPay (via Stripe). We do not collect, process, or store your credit card information. ExtPay handles authentication and verifies your Pro status using a secure token.

4. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
